No, I am not a vegetarian. I have tried and failed in the past to give up meat. It was just not something I could do. I guess that I am all carnivore.

I was a vegetarian for a while, but now I am omnivorous. Being a vegetarian didn't agree with my pregnancy and nursing, so I went back to the dark side. I kinda like the freedom of options in eating anything. Might go back someday, but not soon.
My 8 y/o stepson just decided he should become one yesterday while he was eating a homemade roll with chicken soup. The deciding factor? He wanted to know what yeast was. We were talking about the ingredients of the rolls. My dh told him "little animals" and that bothered him. Not the chicken or any of the cows or pigs he's happily, knowingly munched on a daily basis. Yeast. Go figure.

I wouldn't call myself a vegetarian, but we don't eat much meat. I cut much of the meat out of my diet when I started dieting, and my family just followed suit so I didn't have to cook two dinners. We're all much healthier now, and my hubby's blood pressure went down, and he and I have both lost a lot of weight. When I get a craving for meat I give in to it, but I can always tell when I've eaten meat, I feel heavier (in my stomach), so it doesn't happen often.

Yes, I'm vegetarian.
I decided to become vegetarian when I was a child, but I had to wait to come of age to become vegetarian, because my parents didn't want. However I let my son free to choice his diet, and he eats meat and fish, not much.
My reasons? Only ethical reasons, when I was a child I lived in the country and saw a farmer quartering a rabbit, when I saw his innocent blood flow and I told myself: when I'll grow up I'll become vegetarian. And infact I became it.

I am a vegetarian, and have been one for 12 years. I had stopped eating pork and ground beef by the time I was twelve. When I was fourteen my best friends mother was a vegetarian and she showed me how I could be one and still be healthy. It's funny because she eats meat now, and I'm still a vegetarian. There are several reasons: I don't like the taste, it's better for your health, I like animals, and I went to a slaughter house and the way they kill your meat is really inhumane.
