How many of you use p2p like: odc,dc++,ares,or torents like:demonoid...and why?

First of all DC++, ODC are illegal, torrents are not. Everybody can create a torrent, but downloading torrent's isn't ilegal always. torrents are the best way to go , you can always be certain that the file is the real deal because of the one who hosted it, they have more things. I just use ODC to download music because on the torrents they usually have music by concerts and album. But I don't usually need to use torrents because I buy stuff original, if I give credit to a game, then why would I buy it from the torrents?

I use Torrent only. And only private trackers with ratio. On public trackers I have download speed on 3-4 kB/s, on private full speed (64 kB/s). You have to look for invites on forums. I recommend Torrents! But... Not for illegal.

I can only comment on the one I use, torrent. Not all download there are slow. It depend on the system and available bandwidth of the source. There are times when even with less numbers of seeds/peers(sometimes even without peers) the download is fast because either they're on unlimited bandwidth or they are on a fast system.

Well,while public torrents can be slower,the best thing in them is that,you can get a variety of things in there,and if you are looking for something off the beaten track or less in popularity,there is most chances that it would be found in torrents;And P2P only showcases things that are almost most often as fast as torrent does,only that you have to search for them;So,the best thing would be to balance between the two,depending upon what you are downloading;
