Ice Cream With Peanuts / M&M's

I haven't tried it with M&Ms yet, but I often eat ice cream with peanuts, especially roasted ones. I love to whizz some unsalted peanuts in the microwave for about 20 seconds on high power, leave them to cool, then mix them up with good quality ice cream then pour chocolate sauce over and eat! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm About 15 years ago here in the UK, a supermarket local to where I lived at the time sold peanut butter flavour Haagen Daz ice cream. Sadly I've not seen peanut butter flavour Haagen Daz on sale in the UK since then - shame because it was sooooooooooooo good. I don't think it sold too well as maybe UK people couldn't get to grips with the concept of peanut butter & ice cream together, but I can assure them they didn't know what they were missing.

Wow..ice cream..with..m&m's AND peanuts??? Wow! You're making me very jealous man.^_^ I love ice cream. I lvoe m&m's. I love peanuts. All three together? That would be quite a spectacular desert!! Some of my favorite things in there in one go and in jsut one bite!Oooh, now you're making me hugnry! I havent tried that. Maybe I will when we have ice cream. Ill keep this discussion in mind. I haven't had both peanuts and M&Ms together in one serving of ice cream. I wonder how good it would be to have peanut M&Ms instead? I've had M&Ms in ice cream and I don't really care for it too much because the candy gets a little too cold and hard. I like my M&Ms at room temperature or warm. I've also had peanuts, alone, in ice cream, and it's especially good, even in vanilla ice cream.

I like m&ms with my icecream. I don't usually put peanuts in it. but i'm willing to try it, I love icecream in general.

Yeah, I've put lots of stuff on ice cream: m&m's, peanuts, chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, marshmallows, red hots, reeses pieces, peanut butter, cereal, strawberry syrup, jam, honey...etc.

Hi busta, I have never had them with peanuts or peanut M&M's but I have had them with the plain chocolate M&M's and I agree...damn they're good! I miss the crispy M&'s though, they were my favourite and I used ot have it all the time with my ice cream...I think they have stopped making it but I'm not sure? Anyway, I love ice cream with M&M's mixed in! Not a big fan of the nuts in my ice cream otherwise.

I've never tried that particular flavour before, but from your description it sounds dang good!! I'd love to try that. I'll have to see if they have it up here in Canada. Again, I'd love to try that. If you like that, you have very good taste.

I like using Oreo's but you have to scoop or scrape out the center or it gets too hard when it hits the ice cream. Smash them you and dump them on top of any flavor ice cream and it is so yummy you will want to scream.

I've tried that before and its good. You know what's even better though ? Ice cream with whipped cream, hot chocolate syrup, cherries, chopped nuts *i use walnuts and peanuts mixed together*, and smarties. Now THAT my dear friend is heaven in a bowl !

wow, that sounds like a fantastic treat! the last ice cream I had was a cheap ice cream on stick flavored Double Dutch, and really, it wasn't enough! I still would want to try out m&m's in my next ice cream, with lots and lots of peanuts...T_T
