Are you tired of people who dont respond?

Yes, I too, am tired of those who do not respond. My thinking on this is that some people have noticed myLot is paying more for starting threads than responding in them. I think this has lead to some people starting threads but not taking the time to comment on responses. My solution is to not respond in the threads of non responders. I hope everyone does this.

I'm getting a bit like that myself to an extent. I've actually had a case where I asked the topic starter a question (they had asked something but never stated their own opinion) and they obviously read the posts as they marked a best response some time later, but not once did they make any response. I don't expect people to respond to every post, not everything really requires a response as far as I'm concerned. I generally like to see a few comments back to some people on any decent sized topic conversation. Just to get an idea that the person is actually reading the topic. I'll respond to anything that I feel needs responding.

i can't say that i am very much bothered about it. it may be that they do not get time so much or busy else where. so i do not think much a slong a si am here responding to others. i also may not be able to respond all those. but i try my best.

Well, in my case i am not bothered to those people who dont give me a comment or a reply on the things i wrote on their discussions. This is because on the mylot guidelines, it says there that you dont have to give a comment on every responses you get from the discussions you made unless of course they are asking you a question. thanking people on every reply they give you will be a waste of time on your part. you dont get a cent for thanking them and you lose your productivity. read the mylot guidelines so you will be enlightened. no need to thank me for this post. happy posting!

Hello there my friend. I do agree with you that I have certainly seen some people not responding to discussions or comments at all. I could understand if there are lots of people answering the particular discussion and there are just no time to answer every single one of it. And for that, I won't mind. Like for my discussions, I try my very best to answer to all discussions and comments. If not, I just go through my friends' discussions and answer them direct.

Hmm... frankly speaking, I noticed someone who posted 10-15 new discussions a day but he never really get to check (i think) his own discussion to atleast respond on one of them. As for me, I take time to respond or READ all mylotters reply to my discussion because it makes me appreciate mylot more and more besides mylotters are like family to me... how can I not respond to them? I am happy to respond to as many as I can here as it's more than making a few $$$, it's about making friends and earning more especially from those from other countries. I take plenty of time eading so I choose the discussons I really want to reply to but also want to contact with as many as I can on here a well.

Yes, that's what I've been doing since I noticed it. And if ever they are on my friend's list, I remove them. They are only making money, they use you and take advantage of your being a good friend to them. From then on, I carefully choose and add a friend..

Yes I agree. I don't like when people make discussions on myLot, but don't respond to their responses. I also don't like when people make so many one line discussions because it gets annoying. However I answer many discussions because it's very interesting on here. So even if they don't respond it is still interesting to respond. Pablo

Yes it does get frustrating when you respond to someone and they never respond back. I have started to keep a list of people who are famous for not responding back. So the next time I am on here and I see they started a discussion. I know to not bother responding as I am not going to get a response back. I know for myself I try to respond back to everyone who responds to my discussions. Sometimes it might take my a few days to get back to them, but I do eventually comment back to them. Like on the weekends, I am very busy around the house and don't get on mylot very much. So if I happen to start a discussion say on a Thurs night or Friday. Most likely it might be until Monday morning before I get back to them.

I have to say I have been guilty as charged. (hangs head sheepishly) Mostly I only do this in discussions that have gotten away from me.. in other words I started it and couldnt check on it for a few days then there were so many reponses I could not answer them all. I hate just answering one or two posters you know? Other than that sometimes I wont respond if their view is absolutly opposite of mine, not because I dont want to talk with them but because I dont want to antagonize them and see no way of responding with it. My humblest apologies if I have offended anyone. I wish we could like post a follow up post on the original especially when all the responses are similar.

I try to respond to all of the posts that people make on my discussions. I like to read what they said. Sometimes I try to make it easier for others to understand it or ask them questions if they only partly answered the question I asked. I also like to have fun with them, praise them, thank them and applaud them. I also have been rating them positive for choosing to post in my discussions. I appreciate those who do.

i feel upset when some people do that. of course i do read some of the responses on my discussions. i respond them back to know that i appreciated their efforts even though sometimes i ran out of something to say.

Yes, sure! I try my best to get back to the discussions that I started and at least appreciate everyone that took the pains to reply me;I believe,some people doesn't bother to do that,because they knows,posting that sort of comments won't add to their earnings,or isn't it ? Well, Sometimes I think that so many people are here only for start so many discussion without thinking about the matter and don't do response to others discussion ... They don't comment to response and don't rate too . I don't response to those started discussion , because I know , those discussion are good for nothing ... Thanks !!!

According to mylot FAQs, we don't need to thank everyone or add comments to any response that we recieve in every discussion we post because it does not increase our earnings. Now if we are satisfied with the response we recieved and we want to thank that person we are free to add comment and thank them and rate them as well. Cheers!!

You are right, people don't pay attention to discussions. They simply answer and go on to the next discussion. I think the main reason for this is that they want to respond as fast as they can(earn money as fast as they can).
