Reports now are that as many as 10,000 people may have died in the cyclone to hit Mynmar last weekend. Some of the country's officials say that the bamboo contruction of many residences may have contribtued to the death toll and people are already gripping about the lack of a warning system.
When you see tragedies like this around the world what is your reaction?
Personally, I always wish there was something more that I could do.
How about you?

I guess I feel powerless, because I hate to see anyone hurt or suffering. I wish I had a magic wand sometimes that I could wave and make things right for everybody. Sometimes when I hear about these mass deaths from natural disasters or wars, I look around me where I am living and think this whole section of the city would be decimated, if it had been here. That puts it in a much more real perspective, instead of "it's somewhere else."
