I like creamy coleslaw. I have never made it though.

KFC is the only coleslaw I will eat other than my own. I have gone to KFC before and ordered nothing but the coleslaw. I like getting the buffet at KFC sometimes because I can get a piece or two of chicken and a ton of coleslaw. YUM! I generally make my own though because it is so much less expensive than the KFC stuff and almost as good.

It does not sound like it should be difficult. But I've never made it myself.

I can't stand fast-food slaw. In fact, I don't like anyone's slaw except mine, my grandfather's, and my mother-in-law's. They taught me how to make it, and they make it just alike, so mine is just like theirs. When I get slaw with the meal at KFC or Captain D's or Long John Silver's, I just won't eat it. It's really gross to me, and I just refuse to eat it. I also don't like "Asian Slaw". Ew!

Hi ersmommy, I love cole slaw too! I actually make my own but really can't provide a true recipe for it as I just average my ingredients and it comes out great every time! I use cabbage, carrots, white sugar, apple cider vinegar and mayonnaise in my coleslaw. This is my own little way to do it after I have read many other recipes on here. I hope you can find one that suits you well!

I don't do fast food, I make all my food from scratch,I like the first peson's recipe, but i like to switch it up as well. I like color in my meals, so i usually use red cabbage. Sometimes, i add different ingredients according to the meal itself, like with fish tacos, i add lime juice instead of vinegar, and add cilantro. and sometimes i kick it up a notch, and add a little dab of horseraddish sauce.

I also go to KFC as they do have the best coleslaw.. I do not like the mayonnaise type coleslaw and KFC's is creamy but doesn't have that mayonnaise taste.. I even pick up a quart or two at the holidays, then put it into a serving dish of my own.. Everyone thinks that I make the world's best coleslaw..

I make my own cole slaw dressing. I like mine more tart than sweet so, it is better and cheaper to make my own. I shred my own cabbage and carrots also. I like KFC's cole slaw some of the time, but it is too sweet for me. I love it's texture.

I have made my own cole slaw a few times but it just is not the same. I would much rather buy my claw also. I like Lees chicken cole slawa dn KFC cole slaw too. the best cole slaw I have ever bought from a store was at Jay C food store deli.
