i have a fox terrior, i had it home when it was about 7 weeks old, and i was feeding it with puppy dog food initially. But you know my dog is very curious trying out new foods. One night i was having fish for dinner and he became quite interesting in the smell and keen to try some out. so he got some as treats and he was happy, but during midnight that day, he became very irritated and his eyes were pink and his ears were as thick as aloe leaf. i was very worried but at that time no medical advice can be seeked so i decided to give him some of my anti-hypersentivity drug and hold him with me to sleep. on the next morning he was as happy and healthy as before. Later i asked friends and some of they say that most dogs are sensitive to seafood so you mustnt give any to them. Just be cautious when you serve your dogs with seafood, watch out for their reactions.

I've never given my dog seafood, but I can see where some might be allergic to it. Will definitely not give it to her after reading about your terrier! My German Shepherd does have allergies, and all of them are from certain brands of dog food (dry dog food) Right now the only dry dog food she can eat without getting an ear infection and a tummy rash is that Come 'N Get It brand. Almost every other brand I've tried she breaks out and is miserable. I've tried figuring out exactly what is in those other brands that might be causing it, and I've come to the conclusion that maybe she's allergic to rice. It's funny, rice is one of those foods that sensitive people CAN eat usually without difficulty, I've never found a person or animal who's been allergic to it, but I guess it is possible. My daughter is a veterinarian, and when my dog's ears get irritated like that, it's usually from a yeast type infection from her allergy. She has me take warm vinegar and water, mixed to 50/50 proportions, and put it into the ear. I'm amazed, after doing that twice each time, the infection disappears. It seems to work better for her than when I had regular medicines for it....go figure?!
