Have you been to Mt. Rushmore?

I keep thinking that one of these days we will be able to go. I would also like to see Crazy Horse, and buy some Black Hills gold. Do you live near enough to visit these places.?

No I don't even know what Black Hills Gold is, and I don't know where in the states these places are. Here in canada there several sites I would like to see the gorgeous canada rockies, one of the highest mountain chains in the world.

I think you may be closer to the Dakotas than I am. I am sure there are some beautiful places to see in Canada, I have only been twice. Once to Niagra Falls, and once to Toronto, for a work related purpose. I liked what I saw. I would love to go back. I guess travel is one of my fantasies.

Heading West, North Dakota is in the middle of the US and has a border with Canada. I forget that Canada is so huge.

I have never visited any of those places, although I am sure I would enjoy from the pictures I have seen :)
But when it comes to traveling I am kind of limited lately LOL
I guess it's one of those things that will stay in my list for a while longer:)

Me too. I feel fortunate that I will get to go see my daughter this month.

Well at least you will have the chance to travel for a very joyous reunion with your daughter, that's probably as good as visiting Mt. Rushmore :)
I will not travel but I am happy that so far my mom didn't change her mind and she will be visiting me very soon:):):):)

Both are fantastic and well worth the desolate drive. They really are out there. If you ever head that way make sure to stop in Mitchell, SD to see the 'Corn Palace' too. Its crazy!
I saw them when I did a cross country drive from NY to WA after I got married.

I have seen pictures of the Corn Palace. I think I read a book about it.
