Well, it really does depend on the situation, but a lot of times I try and be very patient and understanding with someone, but if they are supposed to be listening to you, and they are acting like everything is my fault, and not wanting to listen to me, then I might make a comment back to them, and sometimes even request to talk with a supervisor and make a complaint against them from there. As I am a calltaker for a Taxi Company, I know how important it is to give Good Customer service when you can, I feel others all around should offer the same thing too. Just because you are having a Bad day does not mean everyone else should as well.

I'm nice until one of a few things happen. If they tell me that nothing is wrong when it obviously is, I get angry. If they tell me they will send someone out to fix the problem and they do not show up, which requires me to make several phone calls to them again, I get really angry. And, when they get smart with me, I get smart right back and demand someone that knows how to do their job.

I try to, I really do. I know they have a stressful job but if they are just plain dumb about helping me I get really frustrated with them. And if they don't fix the problem by the third time I call I usually get really snippy with them. I get tired of them giving me the run around so I usually snap after a while.

first of all, i think it is best to call customer service...but!!! if only they're efficient in the service that they provide to their customers...so if you ask me if im nice when i call a customer service...then my answer would be it depends...if a customer service whom you call is sounding so arrogant or he/she sounds as if they dont know how to help you out then that's the time that i dont become nice to customer service...it just simply irritates me...but if they're helpful and very accommodating then that's the time i become nice to them...in fact i even thank them for several times..that's all..

Once upon a time I used to have a very short fuse when it came to call centres customer service, that is until I joined Mylot and met soe many people who worked in that area and it was here that i realized the people on the other end of the phone are just trying to make a living, so i can thank Mylot for the better me, today i am more tolerant...

When I have a problem,I will talk to Customer Service as politely as I can and with respect for the role they play. They have a tough job without me yelling at them.I will emphasize to them that my complaint is not with them as individuals, but with the company. If I find they can not help me(or they are not listening/hearing what I am saying),I will ask for their supervisor. They are just trying to do their job and sometimes are not aware of all of the company's policies.

I really try to be nice to the people on the other line because they are not the reason I am calling. And if you're nice, usually they do things to help you out that normally they wouldn't do.
Though I am usually frustrated at something, hence the purpose for calling, I usually try not to take it out on them. They are trying to make a living (like stated above), and are just in between the problem and the solution.

Yes, I am usually am nice when talking to them because I myself is a techsupport so I know the feeling if someone shouted you over the phone but I really can't blame the customer if they are really stressed too. :)
