Haha, maybe I should rephrase "How can one exchange one's spouse?!" Does that sound better? HahahaNo offense & none taken. It's just that many social phenomenons in this age is totally of no moral values, that's what I meant. So we're cool?

I feel like laughing. And someone has written in this thread that wife is "private property." First, whose wife are you planning to exchange? Second, how are you so sure that she will keep her mouth shut while you exchange her? You are talking about a human being, my friend, not a pair of trousers. If she is tired of you, she will leave you and go. And if you are tired of her, get a divorce and marry again or find a consenting adult female. The way you post, it looks as if you have forgotten the fact that we talking about real live human beings with a mind of their own. You may peacefully exchange trousers. But your wife is not an inanimate piece of property for you to play with as you wish. Cheers

LOL.... I am property!!! My significant other tells me everyday I am the most valuable of his possessions...He also says that is because he respects my mind as well as the rest of me. (Just in case you thought he thinks I'm mindless) But, alas, my keeper is greedy... he wouldn't share. :)

The game that exchanging wives is not uncommon in the metropolies today. I feel very strange for this unreasonable behaviour,so I want to talk about it here.

I too am wondering if you are refering to the television show. It actually does seem to help families appreciate each other more.

Tired? As in BORED? Are you kidding me? The last time I heard wedding vows - which was this last weekend - I didn't hear a THING about "unless down the road we get bored with each other." Marriages have up times and down times - the thing is to accept that there will be both, and then during the down times you have to work harder to connect with each other - do something new, go on dates, get a hobby together that's new to both of you. Inject some life into your relationship. Don't just throw it away! If to you, "I do" doesn't mean a thing, don't do it!

Still not sure if you mean the T.V. show... if so it is ammusing to watch, although I wouldn't participate in the show. They always send wacky over the top mom's out to your house to raise your kids in a manor they know you would hate. ICK. As for swingers, people who swap for a night and then back again... what ever knocks your socks off... if everybody is concentual and its your thing. Just for the record... I'm not suggesting its a good idea... only that I'm not going to start a protest outside someone's bedroom door. None of my business. :)

I personally wouldn't participate in a wife swap...I want no-one other than my partner. However if it was something someone else was into, I wouldn't judge them. Ultimately that is between them and their partner. And what ever higher power they believe.

What I refer to is a kind of social phenomenon in the real life.
