yeah there is a saying a child could forget their parents but parents will not forget thier child...
for me it deoends...it depends on parents and children alike...there scenarios that parents love their children more than thier children some are vise-versa!

I think so.Mostly parents are always looking out for their children, they will do everything for them ,even give out their lives. As children, they don't understant their parents most of the time till one day they suddenly grew up and become parents too.

In China, you said that the situation is very common, the elderly doting children is very common thing!
I already have own children,i don't want my children have such thining it,i teach my children to learn their own life, this is vey important!

I don not think the parents' love toward children is much greate than the children' love toward parents. But parents think children are not mature enough to take care them and make desicions themselves, but parents are andults. So human beings' love to their children are more apprent. They consider children as expansoion of their life and tranport their love for parents to their children.
