Is it practical to buy a domain name?

Recently I earned $18 through paid blogging and just today my $12 worth articles were approved, so I have a total of $30 in my paypal account. Do you think it is practical to use that money to buy a domain name? or I will just stick to wordpress? Do you think I will earn more from my blogs if I have my own domain name?

i dont think so... aaa of course there are chances but the cost for putting domain name and you should be paying money to them for putting your own name to that.. i heard of free domain naming services so please try on searching with search engines that facility of free domain naming..hope you get free domain naming... bye bye

actually, I am using right now a free domain name through wordpress (www.dorisday.wordpress.com) and they have some limitations as to paid blogging is concerned. They don't allow to make some links to paid blogging sites.

i heard of new free domains at www.(what-ever-you-want-asdasdsasafj).co.nr then you will find this is not existing and if you will you can make your own hope this really works i dint tried yet .. hope it has no limitations bye bye take care see you

If you do decide to buy a domain name, godaddy has .info names for only 99 cents right now! I have three .info domain names and I have done just as well with them as my .com names.

it all depends on what your suing that domain name for and/or if your going ot sell it in the future is it going ot hold up any profit! if your using it for personal reason then you have to look for other things also like servers and fees as well!
