What sort of things have you forgotten on a trip ??

I bought a new backpack and locked it before I flew off to Tunisia. When I got there I realized that I had left the key at home. I had to damage my backpack in order to get out my clothes. When I went to Portugal I forgot to take my swimming costume. It was an autumn holiday and so most of the clothes shops no longer had swim wear. I managed to buy a swimming costume from a sports shop. I have forgotten my mobile phone charger a few times but I always remember my camera and all its accessories. This year I am taking my baby son to Latvia and I have to keep our luggage to on item less than 15 kilos so that will be challenging. Good luck when you next pack things for your traveling.

Have a time, I forgot my camera, that is really pity!

I had to think about this one, I can't think of anything I have forgotten when I have travelled. My/Our trips are usually planned ahead of time, and about 2 weeks prior to leaving I start making lists, packing list, things to do before we leave, and I keep it handy to add things as I think of them. Then about 3 days prior to leaving I start packing using my lists. I also like to get laundry done before leaving so I don't have that to come home too, so whatever comes out of the drier that is something I will be taking goes from the laundry basket to the suitcase.

I rarely forget anything on business trips anymore. I travel for my work so keep a bag packed with the essentials and only have to pack clothing into it. My make-up bag stays packed, even when I am home I keep everything in the bag so all I have to do is throw it in the suitcase. I keep duplicates of all personal items in a travel bag, with one exception my hair brush and on my last two trips I forgot to throw that in the bag! On personal vacations I am pretty organized but last time I forgot my running shoes, just left them by the side of the bed.

There are some sort of things during my travel that I often forget at times like my toothbrush and the charger of my cellular phone. Good thing is that the place of my destination is a friend of mine so I won't hesitate to borrow from him. Also, I am hoping to get some trips someday and it would really be great if I don't forget those things that I really need the most on my journey.

Bang On.You forgot what I did too!!!I too had forgotten to carry the batteries for the camera.And I was on my Honeymoon then.Talk of the best time to forget them!But in my family none can beat my Dad in forgetfulness.He has forgotten twice not once the train tickets.I remember the second time he had forgotten the tickets how Myself & Mom had to rush to another station where the train was scheduled to arrive as it had already started on the journey.We were able to hand over the ticket to Dad asked him to keep it safely lest it get lost again!

I couldn't believe I had forgotten my tankini bathing suit for our recent trip to the Cook Islands. I didn't swim as often as I wanted to though because of it.

I sometimes forget the keys so I always check on it thrice before I leave

I forgot my cell phone and that is horrible because there is no landline phone around the beach

Yeah I always feel like I forget something everytime I travel....it was such an uncomfortable feeling, wasn't it??? I do not know why I feel like that even though I think I am kind of well-prepared....but even that, I still actually forgot things sometimes. ^^ It is proper annoying especially if I recall it when I am at the airport or on the plane. There was one time, last time actually, my husband and I forgot one of our handbags. On that trip, which was a big trip - kind of moving to settledown in another country, we had about three suitcases, one box and two handbags. My husband was the one who put all the suitcases, box and handbags in the car, except the one that he forgot, so he was the one who recalled it this time, on the way to the airport. He ended up drove back to the house and get it as there were many things so important in that bag. I will be more careful and check everything myself next time. Hopefully I do not forget things, especially important items, next time I travel. ^^

hello friend you will not believe it but once i had to go to delhi on business trip .From my side i had packed up each and every thing and got my suitcase ready but you know what when i reached the airport and started to give the cam man the fare i just got a shock because i had forgotten my handbad at my place itself.You all can understand that what would have been my condition as i had to further leave for delhi.Luckily i had my mobile with me and i called up at my place .My servant then brought the purse back to me at the airport.Have you also experienced such a thing before...then please let me know as well. have a nice day.... all the best.....

i was in hong kong december 2006 right after christmas and i was sooo stupid to forget close shoes. since i'm from a tropical country being in New Territories Hong Kong is like opening a freezer and staying there. I was reminded by mun constantly about bringing close shoes and jacket but i still managed to forget. Crazy.

If I don't make a list, I'm bound to forget something. Once, I went to the beach for a few days and forgot to bring sunblock. I ended up with the worst tan/burn ever!!! All black and almost charcoal like...my skin was burning and sensitive to friction - horrible! I have forgotten to bring film, batteries, chargers, BUT I can remember to bring stuff that I don't need like that book which I will end up NOT reading. =.= (My hubby once forgot his passport and only found out when he reached the check-in counter. I ended up waiting for him at KL International as he made the next flight to KL from Singapore.)

yes you're right.there are so many things which forget before goin on a trip and we realise this so late. like... medicines anti-septic creams extra battery back up for laptop tri pod digi cam life jacket sun glasses

Hi there. I forget to get things before trips a bit but this is not always the way it goes. It's just me sometimes but other times it is cos of the amount of time I take to pack. Catch ya later.
