Not really. If the question addresses my personal opinion and experience I don't need to read all the comments and responses. But if it's something that is asking for specific question and answer, I'd rather read the responses first to check if the answer is already given. If not, then I'd give it a shot.
Sometimes when there is only about ten or less responses I can manage to read them all. Otherwise it would be a waste of time for me.

I respond to all the discussions I respond to, from my eamil notifications from mylot, so I can't see all of the other responses or comments before I post mine. So sometimes I may not have a lot to say or an answer to a question someone asks in their discussion, but I want to see the answer other people have given them so that I know the aswer then too. So I just post what I can, like explain to them that I want to know the answer and so on. After I post my response I will then read some of the other responses they got to the discussion but I only read the page that comes up. I don't go to other pages to read all of the responses as that would just take way too long.

I usually post in new discussions so there are not many responses there. Then I read all.
I have not read any responses for your discussion though. I acessed it from my email link and got right here to the response box. i will read what others have said after closing my post. If I feel there is something more I want to say after doing so I will.

It depends on the discussion. There are some discussion which arrose my interest while just reading the title. But when I read through them, sometimes I don't get the meaning and don't know what to say. Then I will read some responses before I pose my response. However, I seldom read all of them unless there are not many.

Well,it depends the amount of responses the discussion has got.
If it is less than 10,I would read it.
In case if its greater than 10,I just scan through the responses and read only the best response if it was awarded.
But,its actually aginst mylot guidelines to respond to a discussion with out reading all the responses it has got.
Cheers! Have a nice day
Happy mylotting and happy earnings

I don't usually read the other comments before responding a topic. i do so because i don't want my thoughts will be affected by the comments of others. i want to post my own opinion. but if im interested in one topic and i want to know more about the topic, i read the comments of the others to get more ideas of the topic discussion.
but i do check all the comments of those people who responds to my discussions. i want to know their reactions to my topic.

I tend to read the comments other people post because it's interesting to know other people's opinions upon the same discussion. But when there are too much comments or most of them are similar, I won't finish them all.

sometimes. But usually i just respond to a discussion i particularly like without reading all the comments given. You see, my connection is sometimes slow. So instead of waiting for all the comments to show, i'll just go straight responding to a discussion.

Not really. I only read through what the author has to say most of the times, rather than reading people's replies. I'm too lazy to, especially when some replies has got around 40 replies! gosh. I think I might just spend a few minutes reading..I must well spend that few minutes to answer more discussions! :P

If I had slow internet, I would probably not do as much as I do on myLot. I had a discussion on this a long time ago. At that time, I was reading the whole discussion first. Now I post my response and then go to see what everyone else has said. It's kind of fun to compare opinions that way. If I read the comments first, it influences what I have to say sometimes. I mean, I can change my mind after reading - kind of like a debate convincing me.

No, Just like you, I don't have time for that. Not because my internet connection is slow, it's fast actually. I just wanted to go straight to the discussion, read the topic and respond to the ones that I find interesting. I need to respond to at least 20 discussion a day, that's my quota. Then, I would go to the discussions I started and reply to the responses I received.
