Has anyone actually received the IRS rebate check?

No I have not heard of anyone getting a check yet either. You know how gossip goes around. Would be nice to get it soon.

I haven't, but my sister has and was disappointed. She though it was 600 per person, instead it is 300 per person and now can't go and visit her daughter and granddaughter..

I recieved mine on May 5th, probably among the first sent out (they started on May 2). I have a failry low two digits at the end of my SSN, filed early and got direct deposit, which are all things that they say speed up the stimilus check process.

I got my stimulus check last week. I am on Social Security Disability, so mine was for $300. It went straight in the bank. I do have a neighbor that is having major problems with her stimulus check though

We was to be one of the first ones to get the rebate check but I haven't got mine yet either. I have seen some people at Mylot say that they got theirs though. We had to file an ammended return so I have to wait for them to process it first before I will get anything. I am not counting on mine though because it is always something. I thought all we had to do was file to get the rebate. We did file and got our fuirst return, but then we had to go back and file extras that came in the mail. I looked it up online and it says your refund had to be processed before they will issue the rebate check. That is so stupid!

I have not received ours yet and I am frustrated about it as I am scheduled to take a long trip out of state and it certainly would help with the expenses of gas and hotel. It should have been deposited on or before the 16th, a call to the irs leaves me frustrated pushing buttons to hear recorded messages and no actual answers.

We got ours back on the 9th just as expected. At the end of April, hubby said he had heard that the checks were already being sent out, so I did some research since he told me that they are going to be based on your SSN# and whether you did direct deposit or not. The only thing I could find on it was in the BaltimoreSun.com website. I can't find the article now but I did find a link to aarp.org which has an updated chart for the expected arrival dates. According to the chart I'm attaching, ours was actually late. Yeah I want to know that too because if someone could just post it here then I'll really have faith that I am actually going to get mine. I don't believe I'm going to get mine until I have it in my hands. Hopefully someone in mylot says something.
