Unfair Drug Tests? Did you have to take one?

High paying jobs, with benefits often come with an initial drug test and the possibilty of random drug tests. After the hard workers pass the drug test and begin to make a living they are required to pay taxes, that is used to help the unfortunate get "back on their feet". (Which is a good thing, many people need this help, and I have no problem with the welfare idea. Everyone needs help time to time.) Although it makes me angry to know I have to pass a drug test to make money, when a lot (not all) of people on welfare sit around on the butts ALL day and do the very drugs I'm premitted from doing to allow me to support my family as well as theirs. So my question is this? Why are these "unfortunate" individuals not required to take a drug test to obtain the money us hard working citizens make? I'm required to pass the drug test to make the money, shouldn't they be required to pass the test to collect the money?

i myself dont like the idea of helping those people, why is it that it is a necessity to help those people who doesnt even wanted help.they are mature enough to know the right and wrong and being addicted is their choice...if i have the authority,i think i would put them all in an island and let them do their things there.forever and never disturb the people who wants to be productive....

The island idea sounds like a good plan to me!! Now for the addiction I would say it isn't their choice, the first couple of times they tried/used was their choice, but bodies do form an uncontrolable addiction to many things. Maybe one day though we will be able to put all the users together somewhere! Thanks for your comment.
