Do you always check your money at the bank?

I have to make sure I count my money before leaving the bank. The last teller we had shorted me once and my husband once! Luckily we both happen to count our money before driving off. She isnt there anymore.. probably got fired.. anyway.. do you always make sure you count your money before you leave the window?

I always count it. I've had both where a teller gave me too much money and once when I was shorted.
I count it when I take it out of the ATM machine too.I'm not sure what you would do if you were shorted at the ATM lol but I count it anyway.

That is SO true. I wonder if it is possible to be shorted at an ATM? Even at stores I now count my money even if they count it back. Just a week or so ago I almost didnt check it.. the cashier gave my back my whole $100 now in change and an extra $20.00!

I know what you mean money is hard enough to come by. I wish I could do everything online. I dont even use cash that much anymore. Most places wont even take cash now a days anyway.

after what happened to me it's like a big habit now.. I sometimes feel funny, but like another member said making a mistake is human..

yes i do double check the money.
because once you leave and then find its not there is rather bad.
To err is humane, but we can be careful
