Before I should trust any pastor, preacher etc...
WHAT GOD MEAN, WHEN HE SAID:
Jeremiah 17:5
"Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,...."
Romans 3:4"...,but every man a liar; "

That verse means that cursed be the man that trusts in man rather than in God. Because there are people who are liars and shouldn't be trusted. The person we need to trust for all things in life is God.

I agree with what Irish said about testing what the religious leaders tell you....always read for yourself..
To answer your question, God is saying in Jeremiah 17:5 that we should not trust in our own strength, but we should trust in the Lord. If we try to rely on our own selves to accomplish things, we are denying God's superior strength & power, and are therefore cursed.
