How to start speak with my father?

It has been 3years,I didnt spoke to my father.Bcoz of that I almost lost the small love that he affords to me!! The reason I stopped to speak with him is,"He is somewat idiotic,he keep on repling somewat unrelevant answers in unrelevant situation".This makes me to hate him.But now too he keep on repeating this. He is so good that he is ready to give watever i want but I feel bad to take it that?
He doesnt drink not even smoking but something is missing to live with him?pls someone help me solve this problem!!!!!!!

No matter how your father is, or how he says things, he is still your father, and he will always love you. Sometimes people don't know what to say in certain situations, and maybe that is what it was like with your father. My grandfather is like that, he gives answers that make no sense to what is being said to him, but other times he is ok. Of course, my grandfather is not well either. But I still care for him and love him and talk to him.
Talk to your father about why you stopped, but tell him you love him, and even if he gives strange answers, at least do yourself a favor and enjoy his company. He is the only father you will ever have. He sounds like a nice guy.
I haven't spoken to my father in 6 years! He never tried to contact me. I haven't seen my father since I was 16! To be honest, my father was only around until I was 10, he left, came back a week when I was 16, left, and never came back.
You are lucky you have your father.
