Anyone on the Birthcontrol YAZ?

Tomorrow is my six week post pregnancy checkup and I am trying to decide what birth control to go on. I was thinking of going on Yaz (Not Yazmine) Birth control because I see it helps with severe PMS symptoms and PM DD which I have. I have seen quite a few pros and cons though and I know you may have to get your potassium levels tested or something? I was wondering if anyone is taking it and if it has helped them. The other birth control I was thinking of is loestrin 24 which is the pill my doctors office promotes. I like the fact that it lessens your period, But I don't know if it would help me with my severe symptoms. What do you think?
