In the past, I worked for a major pest control company. I learned enough about the business, along with some pest control books I purchased at the time, I am now able to do my own.

Is their fees reasonable compared to the cost of the supplies?

Just as in the grocery store, with some of them I think you are paying for the name. I think It best to check with smaller local companies who may provide just as well a service, but does not have the overhead that the larger companies do.

We have never used a well known pest control company, my mom uses someone and she's real pleased with them. We used someone for awhile and I told my husband for what they charged and the slack way they sprayed, we could do it ourselves. We don't use them anymore. We've been fortunate so far, don't have a lot of trouble with bugs. But I do want to start spraying on our own, they make some good products these days.

If you can't decide what you need to use call jer31558. He did pest control for a large company for years and knows the best stuff to use.

Can not trust any of them, esp. if you have pets-they use poisions and don't really pay a lot of attention to where they put it.
