My wife and I made an observation the other day that people tend to get together with the same ordered sibling in a couple's respective families. For example, I'm the second child and my wife is also the second child. My wife's eldest sister, is married to a man who is the eldest from his family. How about you and your partner?

Well, how's this? Not only are my husband and I both the oldest, our first names begin with the same initial, which is C. My middle and his middle siblings initials both begin with J. Our youngest siblings each begin with B. My birthstone is light green his is dark green. Weird, huh?

Wow, that's quite a lot of coincidences! I have a theory that we have some intuitive way of seeking out partners that are like ourselves. :)

That is really spooky! I never thought about that before but my husband and I are both the youngest in our families. Now I am going to be noticing that amongst the people I know!

Not in my case. I'm the oldest in my family, and my husband was #7 in his.
