love before marriage or love after marriage

well i am from india and it is still catching up with the trend of love marriages..if u talk of this country say 20 yrs back if a girl loves before marriage it was considered as a black mark on her character and virginity was considered to be the most sacred.a girl was forced to love a person whom she gets married to even thou he treated her like a slave.....thats wat was the condition..i want to know ur views and wat r the advantages of both

well, i believe it is always better to fall in love after getting married than to fall in love and then get married. When people fall in love and then get married, they come with a whole bunch of expectations. When they see the person evolving, they find it hard to accept, cause in their mind, they want that person to be the image that they have constructed. Hoever, in an Arranged marriage, where love develops after marriage, you accept the person for who he/she is! you are with an open mind! This causes lesser friction! Plus, its a tried and tested method!!! Howver, im not supporting the system where the girl is treated like a slave, though it doesnt happen everywhere. It is highlighted a lot though! that is sad
