best windows ever xp/vista

Im glad i responded to this conversation two months late. Hahaha, whether you read this or not, generally people enjoy xp better. People claim xp has "less" glitches then vista, which is true to an extent, but by now vista is at the point where it has almost no glitches/bugs. You said vista installs faster than xp? I have no idea whether this is true or not, but as far as i'm concerned vista eats about two times the amount of ram as xp does. In addition, the most commonly used argument against vista, xp has more compatibility because of its longer and extended use.

Vista seems to consume a lot of system resources. A number of my friends complained that their new PC which comes along with Vista is slow and some have downgraded their OS to XP.

I personally like Windows XP better than vista, especially because my computers do not have much ram, so XP works good, but ont Vista.
