Do you listen to music while mylotting?

I love listening to coffee house music of yahoo when mylotting... but for a couple of days... my yahoo messenger is not working right... so... it is very quiet nowadays without music in the office... i hope the problem will be fixed soon... i miss listening to relaxing music while mylotting...

I prefer to listen some classical musics..running in the back ground with a low volume. But on most times it diverts my attention on mylotting.. and sometimes i could not get the entire grasp of the subject.. so i whenever i am in for answering some serious discussions i will stop listening to music.

hi subha12, for sure I'm listening to music while mylotting. the main reason is because sometimes we were trapped in some hard topic. So the music made me ease to think. It's kind of blowing my mind when I tried so hard to answer those complicated discussion. Thank you for coming this nice topic subha12.

i usually listen to music whenever i am myLotting. or just internet surfing. i just can't stand the silence. i want to hear something while i am typing away. but sometimes, i work on the computer without music. but that's very seldom.

I prefer to have the music on anytime I am on the computer. I love to sing along and listen to the music.

yeah im listening to music all the time, even if im not in mylot.. while im working im listening to music, coz if i will not do that, i'll become bored coz silence will kill me lol

Not always,but yes,most of the times I do listen to soft music while mylotting.Loud or fast music distracts me from cocentrating on the posts and my responses,so I prefer softer one with low volume.It doesn't distract and at the same time keeps me refreshed and my mood remains pleasant and I dont find myself tired.Good question subha.

I usually listen to music most of the time I am on the internet. I love music. Sometimes I am listening to the music on my PC and other times I have my stereo turned on. The music actually helps me concentrate and motivates me.

it depends on the day, if the day was rough i don't like to listen to musics at all, but if i spent the day in my home my musics listening ability will increase lol, yeah, when i feel great i like to listen to musics, so if the day was rough i will just give comments without listening musics, am surprised that am listening to music right now, i haven't seen it, anyways have a nice mylotting!!

I normally watch the Steve Wilkos Show,Jerry Springer and Maury while mylotting. I may every once in awhile turn the stereo on. I have to have some kind of noise or I would go crazy.

It depend on my mood. If I feel to listening to music I turn on music while mylotting. But yes most of the time I do listen to music while mylotting. But if I post to some serious discussions I do turn off music becasue I prefer silence at that in order to grasp the discussion.

I do not listen to music, while on mylotting, I wish to conentrate fully on mylot discussions and I find if switch on my music system, it would be a distraction for me, therefore, I do not like any kind of disturbance. when I listen to music, I turn off my computer.

It depends on my mood. There are times when I want to listen to a music and will just search any of my favorite songs at you tube and it will always stopped me from working at mylot. I will just find myself hooked up at you tube! So, when I will decide to seriously post, I prefer not to have any music to give my 100% attention and concentration!LOL

What is there to concentrate in mylot so that we can't listen to songs. Well i m a type of a person that i need concentration while i m studying and i wont listen to music that time. But Mylot. Its for fun and entertainment. But unfortunately, I cant listen to music while i m mylotting. Listening to songs is not allowed while we are in office atleast during the office hours from morning 8 to evening 5:30. I have seen people getting warning letters for listening to songs or watching videos during office hours. I was lucky that i was not in office on the day they did a random scanning of computers. But its against their policies and it may lead to termination too.. So i am just avoiding it for a few days.. Rest of the time, i dont have a computer so i dont use mylot either..

I happen to be one who work better with some noise. Instead of music, I mylot in front of the TV where I can hear what is happening and at the same time responding to discussions. Only when I heard exciting voices that I stop to focus on the TV.

i couldn't agree with you more.i think music helps you unwind and make it fun for you at the same time.i listen to a lot of bollywood music while mylotting and also sing along.it makes it fun to be here and i enjoy replying to posts too.but yeah at times when i find it hard to concentrate i have to put teh music on hold and then carry on with the work at mylotting.
