Who's to blame for the high gas prices, worlwide, but specifically in the U.S.?

Availability of gas is limited and demand is ever increasing. A few countries in the world can produce gas and more are countries are dependent on them. With these factors, they keep increasing the prices of gas. Until we find new and renewable energy, we have no other choice than to accept the increased prices.
