How long do you leave it before you do best response?

Nearly after 2-3 months, I go and check my unresolved discussions and select the best response. I do not like to choose a best response in a hurry, I feel that my discussion should be seen by many and different views should come into my discussions, thereafter I go for selecting the best response.

I usually give a week and decide which among all those responses deserve the BR!

i leave at least a week. i think by that time some response may come which I can award a BR. i have seen many just award it just 1 hour after starting it. but i like to wait a bit.

I usually wait at least a week before giving a best response on any of my discussions, and I read through all the responses before making a choice. It's often very hard to decide which is the best response, and often it is just a random selection.

i don't have any idea where my discussions had gone after i have selected the best response, ow i got it now, thanks for the info, but i only do one best response until now, i usually don't see the mark as best response link, from now on i will select my best response if i got one, but i don't like my discussion to disappear after i select best response, have a nice mylotting!!

I don't have any particular time where to put a best response. I vary it when i think and feel that the user i am going to put as a best response is really answer good and very relevant to my discussion, so far, i have only few post and few best response cause i believe that we can choose the best response if we have something to evaluate and compare.

It depends on the discussion thrown by me-at least a month,this gives the mylotters a time to respond.

I never pay attention to it too. I think back to a good post,i will assess it as the best back!
