I like the idiom "lend someone a hand". In fact, sometimes I live by it, and practices it quite often. Many times, I voluntarily lend someone my hand when I know I can be of help, I have something to offer and the other party can benefit from my gesture. A few weeks back, my church administrator came asking if I could spare the time to help change one or two posters on the church notice board. I took a look at the board and there were 13 A2 sized posters there, three quarters of which were outdated, and I found out that this lady was told to update the board some time ago but couldn't find help. The posters needed graphic designing, that's why it wasn't easy for her to execute the task. I decided that I will help her solve her entire problem by redesigning the whole board for her. It took me three weeks of work to design 13 posters using my PC's graphics software and gave a new look to the whole board. Although she only asked for two posters to be done, I ended up doing all of them voluntarily. I lent her my hand, and resolved a big problem for her.

Thank you for this BR vote, even though this discussion was quite a long time ago, and I have almost forgotten about it. In fact, I hardly come into myLot these days because I have been very busy on other sites. This lady in my church that I had lent a big hand to two years back...well, I am still helping her today to maintain that board. Whenever she has needs to change any of the posters on the board, she will send a request to me, and I will usually help her out.
Hope you have a good day. Thanks again for the vote.

I dont know the Idoim. But I remember its meaning, It goes like this:life is a mirror, if you smile to it, it will smile to you;if you cry to it, it will cry to you. This maybe is not an Idoim, but I like it. It teaches me the right atitude to life. God is equal to everyone. We may be poorer, we may meet more obstcles tham others. We may conplaint our fates. But we are health, we have parents together with us, we have friends ,we have our joys, we are alive. All these are our mesure. Please be grateful to fate. Atitude determined life.

I like this line that has been created by me - Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life!
If you really love life, you'll love others too, and if you live life in a manner that doesn't adversely effect anyone, then that is good too.
Recently, I have added one more alliteration - Live & Let Live!, since I felt that the first expression was incomplete.
So now I say: Life's Lovely! Love & LIve Life! Live & Let Live!
