where are you going this summer???

Wish you a nice holiday in Goa. I may probably go home(north east India). Even though it is not holiday in real sense but a trip home is always a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for me because of the nice weather, local delicacies and lovely sceneries of hills and valleys.

I don't really know yet. I might visit family down south. My family doesn't really make plans about such things. We never do anything.

I am taking my baby son to Latvia this year. It is a small country, that is one of the Baltic States between Poland and Russia. It has a temperate climate with cool days and some rain. We will go to the capital city, Riga, and explore its historical streets. Then we will go to the beach on the North Sea and a see the forests and enjoy breathing in some fresh air. Next we will go to the area known as the Switzerland of Latvia. There is a picturesque castle there and some beautiful countryside. I am considering applying for visas for Russia so we can go to St Petersburg. However that will be difficult to do because it requires accommodation to be booked. I hope that you will have a wonderful time on the palm fringed beaches of Goa. I would love to go to India one day.

I wish I could say I was going somewhere unique but, nope! Again this year, all of my vacation time will be given to family, minus 2 days that were for my hubby's surgery a couple months ago and my wisdom tooth extraction last Friday. Freaking yay! Don't get me wrong, I love my family but, visiting family is not a vacation. There is not relaxing on a lounge chair on a beach. No fruity tropical drinks. Really...no relaxation because there is always a need to do this, do that and be present unless you are sleeping. I would love to be reporting on an upcoming trip to Fiji or Hawaii or Brazil. But, my remaining 6 vacation days for the year will be spent in Buffalo, New York and Cleveland, Ohio. Again...I love my family but...darn I need a real vacation. Somewhere where I am waited on hand and foot and the only thing I have to worry about is which bathing suit I want to wear for the day. Somewhere where a waiter or waitress sees I am running low on my Pina Colada and asks me if I would like another one or if I would like to try something different. Somewhere where lizards cross the sidewalk in front of me and exotic birds chit chat all around me and where I wake up to the sound of the ocean instead of the sound of people coming in and out of the bathroom in preparation of a busy day of tugging me here and there. Sorry! I am really feeling every bit of my lack of some good relaxing vacation time for the 4th year in a row. I don't mean to be a downer! I really am sorry for venting!

this summer should be amazing :) im off to a canary island for a week and then a day after i get a back im going to blackpool :) hopefully the weather will be good!

i've been to the usuals Bora, baguio, Cebu, puwerto, batangas, taal.. so i said why not try something new.. so i heard about Zambales particularly the island called anawagin.. when i saw the picture they were right it was lovely it's like bora meets baguio.. i went where last month.. and i'm planing to go again this mid may. try it!!

Hi! its nice that you're going away for the summer.^_^ What place do you mean by 'Goa'? Do you mean Goa in Camarines Sur or another place that I dont know about? Anyways, if you mean Goa in Camarines Sur well I ahve friends there and a foster family there. Had a blast in my stay there and the view from our place was amazing! We can see the Sabang shoreline and the mountain range all around us. We also took baths in a natural spring. People get their drinking water there. Its really fresh and clean. Well, wherever Goa you're going to go to for the summer, I hope you have a nice time!^_^

I have a great eventfull summer planned =] finishign gcse's =] off to my prom =] going abround to the canary islands , then of to blackpool for a week with all my firends! then a fancy dress party ! startign college =] Gigs . London =] Amazement! im well looking forward to it =].
