Elton John is a very good choice. He's got it all: great songwriting, both good slow songs and fast songs, great show presence. Every three months or so I get an Elton John craving and listen to him exclusively for a couple weeks straight.

well, my favorite singer is pavarotti. you know, in italy, pavarotti means favorite...you feel the similar pronunciation, right? ..don't believe, i just kidding...

I think my all time favorite would have to be Robin Gibb. He can write great songs. And he has a voice like no other singer I know.

Taking Back Sunday are my favourite band. Their albums are awesome. They put on a great live show, too. I've seen them four times. I've also met the band, they're lovely.
