beauty products - do you believe celebrity endorsement

With all those beauty products being advertise everyday it is really hard to decide what to use on our body, each of them are claiming to be the best and effective in making the skin beautiful, flawless and whiter. Most of them are being endorsed by different local and foreign celebrities claiming that they are using the product and thus they work for their skin. Endorsement especially by our favorite celebrities can really look convincing and somewhat tempting but come to think of it, they are already beautiful and have fair skin (some flawless) even before those products became available. so how can we really believe them. Besides with the money they have for sure they can do alot of skin surgeries and buy different cosmetics recommended by some of the best dermatologists in the world. So do you think they are really credible, like a whitening product being endorsed by a fair-skinned celebrities, she's born with that skin complexion for crying out loud.

No I don't since I know they only endorsed the product and some they did not personally used. And as the beauty products I don't believed it is fitted to all types of skin not all products are can absorbed by my skin type and not sure that It will have a good result to me.

I believe them sometimes. But mostly, I don't. It's very ridiculous at times especially when they are very into it. They would tell people they use these products although it's quite obvious they're not. In my case, I really read the labels and do some research before buying some.

No, I don't fall with their convincing power to attract consumers. We don't even really know if they're really using what they're endorsing. I just sticked and continue using products which I am used too.

I think they sound so convincing because they are well paid for it. They do not have to use it to endorse it. So no I do not believe the commercials.

For celebrities it is making a hay while the sun shines. They are not here to serve people. In the process of making out a living for themselves some people become celebs due to emotional and artistic appeal their professions carry.

it doesnt matter if their famous or not, a product will be sold no matter who endorses it or what famous person is in the commercial, and dont think that because they are famous they didn't or don't have the same problems we do after all they are people just like us and thier skin is just like ours. my son uses proactiv and nit just famous people are in that commercial, or let me guess those regular people are lieing cuz they get a check too...

Not always...sometimes they may use celebrities...that have been using their products....but for the most part, when these products come out....how long have they actually been out, and how long have these celebrities actually used the product... Find before and after pictures....is there really a difference? I think it's all a scam...lol...just to sell more stuff we really don't need...

I think Most Celebrities are highly overrated, specially here in the Philippines. ( that's why they can simply run for office and win- [but that's another story]) anyway Short answer is NO. the best way to know is to test it yourself. i think most products are subjective. and beauty products i thinks there is the thing called "hiyang syo" or it matches your sink or whatever. anyway celebrities are just ordinary people who lived in a world of lies and in vanity. - don't get me wrong i don't hate them i just don't like the way soem of them act and how people react towards them like they are some god/goddess.. it's actually just hype, build-up, make-up/plastic surgery. package and puppet'ed for your entertainment. (Again i Stress not all of them)
