How long does a friend need to be inactive before you delete them?

i have so many friends that havent logged in for a few months, but i know that i went a few months without logging in before comming back, so how long would you say would be a perfect time to start deleting people because they were inactive?

I wouldn't even bother. Maybe they'll be back, maybe they won't. Everybody does things way differently, but the only way I know of any friends status, is if I get a notification in my inbox that they've written something new, in which case--I read it and see if it's something I find worth responding to or something I'm qualified to respond to--a question about astrophysics, or feminine hygiene methods is out of my league.
I disappeared from Mylot for a couple of months, with moving getting a new job, starting new classes, at that time dating, all of this new and time-consuming stuff at once--but I'm back now, but I could have in that time, been seen as "inactive" and deleted by someone. Peace.

Groovy. You never know when they might be back, and why do unnecessary work, anyway?

I think a lot of the ones that are on my list have been inactive for a while too, it is hard to say because sometimes people go off for a few months and then all of a sudden come back on and then are really active, I have had that happen a couple of times. So I think that I would probably leave it for a while but not sure how long I would leave it!!

i did delete this one guy thats been inactive for 8 months. but i think that if its like 4 months or less they may come back, i was gone for like 3 months one time and then came back

Yeah I would say anything inactive over 4 months would probably be about the right thing to do, knowing my luck I would delete someone only to have them come back and say why did you delete me!!

oh i don't really care. they stay there that way. that would take so much time if i will delete all of them or to really find out i they are still active or not. i think that i an exercise in futility. i would rather post. i am having much more fun posting that doing that. lol
good day dear! :-)

Don't delete them. Life has kept me away for what about 8 months to a year. My kids have had a busy year and I spent my time doing what was important. Now that things have slowed down I thought I would come back and talk a little. You never know when someone will pop back up again.

I am really not sure..I had some friends that were not active for 3 -4 moths, some longer..One day they just all of a sudden started opening discussions..I have not deleted any of mine but i have thought about it...I supposs it does not matter rather you delete them or not,you don't get any e-mails from them anyway....
