I finally have a dog that isn't afraid of storms

Wow, that's funny. I've had several dogs, but our latest (that we adopted three or four months ago) is the very first one I've had that's really scared of storms. She follows me around looking all sad and scared the whole time it's storming. She will come into the bedroom and stick her nose in my eye until I put a hand on her head, then she'll lay down on the floor and go to sleep. She tried to get into the bed, but she's too big to fit with me, the wife, and the daughter.

hi tricia! well that is so good. yeah, usually dogs are afraid of storms, and in our country, they are afraid of New Year and Christmas because of the fireworks. but if you do find a dog, that is a rare find. i do hope that your dog has other fine qualities as well, to make it well rounded. good day dear! :-) and congratulations on your good find.
