I went to Malaysia when I was traveling around the world. I liked seeing the amazing looking temple in Penang, shopping in Kuala Lumpur, relaxing in Mersing and spending time on palm fringed beaches on Tioman Island. It was great to travel by train, bus, ferry and taxi. I saw some monkeys by the gate of the botanical gardens. I loved seeing palm trees, tropical plants and the pretty countryside. I met the friendly local people and bought a lovely costume doll. However I arrived into Malaysia from Sumatra with sickness that I had got after eating a salad. I was ill for a week, recovered and then in Mersing, one dark evening I fell down a drain. I came home on crutches but I still have fond memories of beautiful Malaysia.

I worked in Malaysia for three years, in Johore Bahru. I've too many experiences there that i won't forget as long as i lived. The space is not enough if i will write it all down, anyway. When i first got there and saw the people, it's like seeing my fellow Filipinos too. Maybe because of our Malay heritage and our Asian features. Even the skin color is the same. The food is not a problem for me because personally i like spicy foods, only there it's too spicy. I remember the first food i tasted there, it's nasi goreng with spicy fish. Here we also had fried rice but its not spicy. Up to now, i can still sing my favorite Malaysian song which i always see on TV there before. I also visited KL with my best friend and also Melacca. My Malaysian friends are so good to me. How i wish i could go back and visit Malaysia again. I used to call the place where i worked in Senai as United Nations because of the many nationalities that worked there. We had Malaysians, Chinese, Indians, Filipinos, Indonesians, Bangladeshi and Pakistans. Terima kasih for all the memories and the good times i've experienced there.

I had been to Malaysia twice. Joined a group for city tour of Kuala Lumpur seing the Petronas Twin Towers, Istana Negara (king's palace), KL museum, chinatown, other malls and other tourist attractions. I also went on on top of the KL Tower and had an overview of the city.
After a tour of KL, I took another flight off to Kuching City, Sarawak where I stayed for about 2 weeks. It's a nice small city and quiet, unlike KL. I also went around Kuching and saw some of its tour attractions. I had enjoyed my travel to Malaysia, spent time with hubby who is working there.
