Hi there guys. I dont know if this is general with everybody. I've noticed, with my kids specially, they need to do a "special" ritual before going to sleep. My youngest daughter would hold her ears for her to go to sleep. My second kid, would only sleep while holding the hair of his bedmate. With my sister, she needs to have her blanket by her feet, and she could only sleep after rubbing her feet on the blanket. I dont know if everyone have this kind of "rituals" or is my family just weird. =)
In connection to this, please share with me your sleeping "rituals"?

Not at all weird. I think everyone has some sort of quirk if they think about it. Mine is thinking about different types of scenarios I want to write in my next story. I'm always working on several projects at once. Since I have been doing this, great material comes to me in my dreams.

I would do the same if I am working on a program. I would wake up in the morning with a solution I can try to solve the problem.

when i am trying to go to sleep every night i play a game it is kind of like the game 'scattagories' and i go through a subject like food or cities and then go through the alphabet - it sounds kind of weird, but it really does work! it makes me focus on one thing instead of jumping all around.

I used to be insomiac. (I work graveyard shift now so I dont know if I still am). I would need to read a book for me to get some sleep. 3-5 pages atleast). Tiring the mind and your eyes really helps getting some sleep.
