I am getting ready to have plans drawn up for a house that I will build. Is there anything in your house that you can't live without, or something you have always wanted?
My two things so far are a laundry chute on the second floor going into the laundry room and a huge pantry to stockpile food.

I actually drew blueprints of my dreamhome (custom built...it'll never happen hence "Dream home" :( ) but it was gonna be
A Black Marble 3 level house in the country near a lake, on 500 acres of land, with a wooded backyard (with a nature trail through it)
It would have a HUGE underground basement, dungeon, den, and half bathroom
...uhh I wish I could show you the blueprints, it would be an awesome place...but too bad it all must stay in my head :(

I always like big house. So my ideal house should be big enough and has many rooms. Besides, its kitchen shall be large, too. Because I enjoy cooking. I also need a garden and a swimming pool so that we will have fun sometimes.
I love China

Oh, a laundry chute, I need that. I've always wanted the pantry, and of course a giant kitchen. For me right now my basic needs in a house are bedrooms and bathrooms. We have 7 people in this house, and 3 bedrooms and only 1 teeny tiny bathroom. It's a 2 family and eventually we'll turn it into a 1 family. I'm hoping for 1 bedroom per child, or at least just the 2 youngest sharing. A minimum of 2 bathrooms, but I'd like a master bathroom as well, so maybe 2 and a half or 3. I want both bathrooms to have it's own water heater seperate from the other bathroom so we don't have to fight for hot water when there's 5 of us needing to shower in the morning.
That's really about it.

My ideal house is a double wide that looks almost exactly like my parents double wide, and something I have always wanted is a room where I can put a pool table, and a place to play video games with my friends, and other than that I want it too look sorta simular to my parents double wide when it comes to setting up the other rooms.
