I Just Registered To Vote,

For the first time in my life. Until now, I never really saw much of a need to vote. But after what has happened in the past few years. I am at the point where I feel that whether or not my vote sways things the way I think they could be, I have to stand up and be counted. This war in Iraq has really had a big impact on me personally. Watching Cindy Sheehan agonize over the loss of her son the way that she did, really touched my heart. My little cousin fought in "Desert Storm," and now he is fighting cancer. I figure the least that I can do is cast my vote. I finally found a candidate whom I truly believe in my heart can make a difference. I wanted to do more than just root for them.
