I just read an article about the seven deadliest diseases in history. All but one is no longer a threat at this time. But it is said that they can pose a threat in the future. Some of them have wiped out millions. For me, it is frightening to know that there are diseases that were once so devastating and have the potential to be a threat again. They are smallpox, chlora, influenza, tuburculosis, and a few others. Check out the article and tell me what you know or think of these diseases. http://www.qualityhealth.com/psp/7-deadliest-diseases-in-history/featurearticles/featuredArticle.jspa?rf=27937&mc=MTQ0MjA4NzA.

Hi Rozie dear! I read the article and I thank God for all the vaccines and medicines that were discovered so we can all be somehow safe from all those diseases. However, due to poverty there are still a lot of my countrymen who are afflicted with tuberculosis and a few cases of cholera. Although there are medicines for treatment, most of my countrymen can't afford the medical bills and medicines. I just hope that in time, the medicines will be affordable even to those poorest among the poor. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

I hope that they will be able to afford the medication soon too. It seems so senseless to die, when help is available. God bless you.

Several of these diseases affect populations in so-called third world countries. These include TB (tuberculosis), which is becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics, cholera, and malaria. There is also the hypothesis that the Spanish flu may have been the same thing as the more recent cases of "bird flu," but without any conclusive evidence. Thank you for posting this awesome link.
