i know that everyone does different things. when i was a teenager, i would lock myself in my room. light some candles, put brian mcknight on repeat and write poetry. or i might lock myself in the bathroom, light some candles, put on some jazz and soak in a nice long bubble bath.
nowadays, i find that i don't really have that kind of time to get away with that. even though i wish i could. but i might put the baby in the stroller and go for a walk aroung the neighborhood. sip a glass of wine if i have any. or even work on a crossword puzzle. it sounds strange, but focusing on trivial facts takes my attention off whatever's bothering me.

hello only1shi,
when i was growing up if i am stressed i will either go to a farm (i cannot go to my room coz i dont have one) or i will go to the roof top and stay there with my music and just look at the clouds and relax my mind. it helps me coz i see beauty and not focus on the bad ones and it sure gives me hope.
NOW
i have all the rooms i can go if i am stress or sad but i am not allowed LOL coz i will stressed my hubby if i do that so i will just ask him to walk me out or if i can hug and talk to him to ease any stress inside me. he is a wonderful man and he will take a time off to whatever he is doing just to give me a time to talk or walk.
or i will just lay on the floor close my eyes and just not think of anything. laying in floors makes me feel so close to earth and that helps me rejuvenate. i dont know but if i am stress i need a nature to help me out i guess because i grow up with that kind of help.
btw, i dont think it is strange that you do puzzles when you are stress coz i do the same or word guessing online it makes my brain work and gives me a different mood over time.
takecare!

Well, when I was younger I use to bike and hike when I'm stressed out. When I'm depressed over something I wrote poems on that subject matter, what went wrong and what can I do to correct it. As I grow older and have to work, time constriction is such an obstacle for stress release, so in order to save time a good old cuddle and love making is perfect.

The way that i relieve stress really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. I have two main ways that i relieve stress jogging and meditating. If i have the time i will go out for a nice long jog and rid my mind of any stress that i might be feeling at the time. This works great because by the times I'm done i barely have a care in the world. The other way which i mentioned earlier is meditating. If i don't have that much time i find myself detaching myself from reality but only momentarily. I just take this time to rid my mind of stress and to reflect on tough decissions.

The thing that helps me to relieve of my stress is just to keep quite and think of positive things. It helps me a lot. It also keep me from getting angry. Reading a good book helps too. If can read it silently your mind will drift away from the real world and go to the world of imagination. I also sleep or rest a little bit when I'm strees because after I wake up, I can forget all of my troubles. Being stressed is a great problem because you can't do a lot of things and you might do it wrong messing it up. There are many things to keep you away frm getting stressed. Some can be individual and some can be grouped. What I only know is just when your stress just keep it to yourselves because it can affect other people making them a little bit in a bad mood.

No matter how hectic the day seems and time is not on your side, one should take time out to relax and not become caught up in the care of this world. Relaxation can be the form of anything: like reading an inspirational book, listen and/ or watching to your favour music and movie/ tv show, respectively or better yet spending some quiet time with God (this works for me). Importantly, one should take time out to identify the stressor(s) promptly and and in this process one should not panic. Also once shoul not be not afraid to ask for help.

For me, when I am really stressed... I find writing in here sometimes can be a Great thing to do, as it often helps me take my mind off of what is bothering me at the moment, and then go from there. Usually it helps to relax me and take my mind off of it for a bit so I can move onto something else.
Also what I have done from time to time, is to go in and take a nap for an hr. or so if I have time, and that seems to help relieve some of the stress as well. For me that is a way to run from what is happening at the moment and go to another realm in my life forgetting about what is going on and feel relaxed again when I awake. These might be some to help you as well.

One of my favorite ways to get rid of stress is make some hot chocolate and take a warm bubble bath. I sometimes will even get a good book and just read for awhile while I'm in the tub. It always helps me to get more relaxed. I also really like to go for a nice walk if the weather is nice, or even go jogging sometimes. That really helps to relieve my stress also.

I hear music and spend time with my family, it motivates me to sort out all the problems which I am facing at that point of time.

I would play games for stress relief. Sometimes I would take a nap to relax my mind or go for a swim.

Well, I release my stress by daydreaming....weird. Experts say it's a helthy way to release stress. Reading magazines and a sip of your favorite juice drink also helps. Taking a nap really helps. Try these tips:)

If I had the money, I'll go the salon or have a day at the spa. If I dont, I'll watch Adam Sandler movies and laugh till my sides ache. :) I'll treat my family to dinner.
