You hear about Apophis Asteroid?

I thin until 2022 we will crate a wepon or wepons to destroi de asteroid form far away...or if we can leave on Marth this sounds like SF ^^ but do u people think will be posible?

I think it is possible that Apophas will hit the earth and destroy a huge chunck of the planet. Far more likely, however, is that humans lead to our own demise. We have been dealing with greenhouse gasses and the ozone layer for quite some time. The seismic activity on this planet is also somewhat controlled by the magentisim from the sun(among other things). I think the combination of human consumption and ignorace will eventually lead to the demise of the planet, and not a catostrophic event like an asteroid or meteor.

Possibly, they might have build some weapon to destory, but i do remember seeing a documentary on discovery channel about stopping asteroids and comets in space to harvest it for raw material..maybe in 2022 they will do it.
