which mp3 player brand do you choose .most of my friends choose newman. but now, mp5 has come to the world, so most of us don't use mp3 any more

I have never had an MP player, when I was looking for this type of thing I was drawn to the mini disc player/recorder which I was great for me as i could record the music of thebands I help when they are on stage, I like it, and one can't have everything...

huh? whats mp5? I have not heard about that yet. I guess I am just too outdated lol. But whats the difference?
