is life really tough?

Sometimes, I think life is wonderful, you can lead a very good life as you make effort. However, life is not so simple as you think. Sometims, it has no relation with effort. Though you make great effort, you won't gain accordingly.
So, most of the time, life seems very tough to me.
What do you think, dear friends?

Hi benbenlgml, It's not what happens to us in life, but the way we take it that really counts. Our attitude can make the difference between a happy life and an unhappy one. I was told this when I was a young man, but being young didn't think much about it. Many years later, I can now tell you that it is true. Everyone must face some problems in life, otherwise we could never learn and grow, but as you mention, there will also be good times. We must take life one day at a time, and take care of tomorrow's troubles when that day comes. Be grateful for what you have, no matter how small or how great. A grateful heart helps to bring happiness. If you have a chance to help another, do so and ask them to pass it on to someone else. I hope you will find something that I have said here to be helpful. Yeah life is tough but the toughness that you feel really depends on how you see things. Somebody said that we may not have everything we wanted but we were giveneverything we had hoped for.
