do you think jk rowling should write book 8 of harry potter series?

I hope she does, they were really good books and they came out just in time for the summer so you could just chill out in the sun and just read.
She could quite easily come up with some more story lines about him now he is older.
I would still buy them would you?
i'm so worried about the films i think the books are much better anyway, you get to use your imagination alot with them

In what way are you worried about the films? I don't know if its the same way as me, but I just don't want them to get much darker than number 5. Its not so much the subject matter, cuz I've read the books and know that things are getting serious. It's just that all the scenes are cloudy and rainy and it makes you wonder why the kids still want to be at Hogwarts. The first two movies, the castle looked fun. I know a lot of people disagree, but that's how I feel.

I don't mean i'm actually worried about seeing the film, i just don't think the films are as good as the books and i find watching the films spoil it for me. The first 2 were good and i watched them before i read the books, but the newer films just not the same.

I see what you mean. I think the first two movies followed the books closely enough that watching them first might have been OK, although I had read the books so I can't really say. But from 3 on, the movies left out so much detail or changed things so much that they really are much more fun if you've read the books first. I guess some of this is that the books got bigger and bigger, but even in number 3, they left out so much of the cool stuff about the mauraders that I found myself having to explain things to my husband who hadn't read the books.

I would even like it if JK or even somebody else with some real talent would just take this world she gave us and make another series. Kind of like Star Trek, Next Generation. It could be different characters in a different time or maybe same time but stuff that happened at Durmstrang or something. Or take a minor character in the Harry Potter series, like Katie Bell or someone, and make a whole new story about them that weaves some of the original series in. They could even pull a Star Wars and do a Pre-quel about Dumbledore and Grindlewald (??). What do you think?

im a die hard fan of harry potter. i reAlly wish jk writes about the trio (harry, ron and hermione).she could make them work in the ministry as aurors or something like that. it will b intresting right

Yeah! I think so too! I jsut miss the Harry Potter series and I miss the books, the story, the world of Harry Potter and eveyrhitng about it. Its like the most amazing book in the world of fantasies. I can never get tired of re=reading it. Before the 7th book was released I was hoping that there be an 8th book. The 8th book would be the epilogue to the epic story/series. I wont mind if its only 100pages long or even 50pages long just as it be the book that closes everything. It will tell us how Harry and the otheres recovered form everything and it will lead to hints of what the otehr characters became and how they got to it. How theyd meet their wives/husbands and that sort of thing. But then when I read the 7th book. I guess its pretty much over. I dont want another book because it said everything there is to say and doing another book will just confuse everything. One thing I just wish that happened though. I just wish JK Rowling elaborated more on the epilogue and made it to maybe 5-10pages of detailed closing events that will make the series truly finished. Im jsut not satisfied with the 3 page epilogue. Its just so very vague and I felt like it was jsut an after thought to everything.
anyways, I still love the book no matter what. I hope JK creates another character just as lovable as Harry Potter.

I really wish JK Rowling would write another book. But I would want it to be about the Marauders, their life, because I think something should be left to us fanfictioners XD
It'd be awesome to see how Lily and James got together etc. But really, i think JK's just such an awesome author that anything she writes from now will be incredible.
