With myLot, do you get paid more or are there any advantages to having lots and lots of friends? What are the benefits of having friends in myLot?

I wish I knew this answer. I usually agree to friends who wish me to add them. But if their name or picture throws up a red flag, I chech out their profile. If the type of questions they post are immodest, I deny. I beleive who you assiciate with is important. I check out the friends on profiles I go into. If we got paid for having friends, everyone would have a ton of friends, and it really wouldn'nt mean much. I think the friend opportunity is just a means of helping us know when a new post is up by someone we would likely respond to.

Well your added friends are notified of your discussions, so this could bring more people to respond and also gives them more opportunity to give you plus ratings. I don't think that you earn just for adding friends though.

I agree. With so much silly stuff on Mylot, it's otherwised hard to find good discussions. I get notified of new posts my friends make, and always check those out. And by having friends on my profile page I can always go to their profile page and see what they've commented on.

Well,I have 95 friends here in mylot. Most of the replies are from them,so,I guess having more friends would have more benefits. And i also get more chance to answer more.

Not sure if the quantity of friends you have adds to your earnings or not.

Hi Mylotters... I was wondering if anyone now knows the answer to this question, and didn't want to start a new discussion... Just wondering if anyone knows whether or not the number of friends a person has actually matters when they calculate earnings? I was wondering because I have friends on my profile that I don't remember adding? So I went thru and looked at their profiles, and they are people who started discussions I responded to. But not ALL the discussion starters i have responded to are on my friends? So I'm not sure but I thought it might have some relevence? Anything someone might know about this will help, thanks!
