Hello All,
I was inactive for the past three months. I guess so many things happened here in myLot and I feel a little bit awkward being here without knowing the latest update and news. My real life changed for a better. I get pretty busy day by day with my personal and work. Well, I got promoted two months ago. Yes, it is a good news and with it comes a bad news too - I get really tight up with my work. As some of you might know, I am not a workaholic person - not really... But right now, I really think about work, work and work that my husband too, gets tired listening to my complaints and details of my problem at work. In fact, I never get serious about my work before. I am not too career minded woman. Now, whenever I can't sleep at night, I think about my work. That is just so amazing for someone who is as simple as me

Congratulations on you promotion... i was wondering what happened to you... and i though you will never come back here... but i am glad you did... well, a promotion does entail a lot of responsibilities... and the desire to prove to others that you deserve that... but knowing you... i am sure you will be able to pull it through...
You are still in the adjustment stage... and in no time... the euphoria will subside... and you will be able to go back to your normal routine...

Wow... thing are turning out good for you... a promotion... and now a new laptop... now you can log on to mylot as long as you have finished tending to your baby... i only watch dvd when my baby is sleeping... and i am currently half way to finishing the third season of Prison Break... i can't wait for the fourth season...

It really takes me too long for everything. I stopped reading books quite sometimes due to my busy schedules at work and home. I love to watch movies too but since my baby is still small, I can't go to the cinema and to watch DVD at home is such a luxury time for me. Currently, I am glad that I am not really busy at work and that's why you see me more often here. Aha, at this time I can't access my internet at home since my service provider encounters problem since a week ago. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal soon.

Thanks for still being here with me. I am glad I found you here. Don't worry, I never decide to leave myLot. I am still happy to be here though I seldom log in. You know that my husband doesn't really like me to enter his computer room or touch his computers. By the way, I solved the problem recently when he decided to buy another laptop for me. And that's why I can be online at night now 
with a strict condition - I need to settle the housechores and make sure my baby is my priority instead of lazing at the sofa and mylotting

Hi there gr8life, This is 3 months old but I would love to drop my opinion..I am not sure if you are still with that job...LOL! I love to work and I also love to have a break..I have been so workaholic during the 8 successive years in my career and now 6 months jobless, I felt so sad...Anyway, just balance your time for your family and work and take it easy, do not think a lot about work, when It is done in a day, set your mind for your another role in the house! Cheers!

Thanks for dropping by *smiles* How I wish I am able to stay at home and don't have to work anymore but of course, with a lot of money to support my lifestyle *laughs* I get used to it by now and I hope more good things will happen in a near future. Thanks again for your response.

hey! that's great gr8life! don't you think its a good change now that you are being serious with a certain work? that could only mean that you love what you are doing and you are doing your best on it. if not, you wouldn't get promoted. congratulation! i think you're starting a new stage of your life. good luck!

Yes, it has been very good but (human being never satisfied, I guess...) I am still thinking of more salary increment this year as my responsibilities become bigger. I am happy with my work at this very moment but do not know what I am going to do for the future - maybe I will stay, maybe I will search for something new. It depends on my increment. Ahah, I am such a money minded person!

i don't think its wrong to think of money, you think it as the fruit of your labor anyway. as long as we don't treat money as God, then we're good. and i know you want to earn money because you need it for your family.

Congratulations to your promotion! Don't think about work too much as there are other things out there to enjoy and see *laughs*. Well, work has been busy for me too and it would be really good that I could rest for a week or something. I am feeling drained right now *laughs*.

You are right. I was so so so relax for the past few years as there's really nothing much to do. Out of sudden, my workload increased for the past few months. That's the reason I seldom log in here. I am happy with everything now. Maybe a little adjustment here and there will help me to be more comfortable with my life.

I'm glad you got a promotion, maybe in a little while things will slow down for you. Family comes first as they say.
and don't bring work home with you mentally. it's more stressful if you do. I've learned this many times over.
