Alas I am not. Can't hold a tune and have no rhythm. I have always thought it would be the greatest of jobs. Too bad I have no talent. My hubby wanted to be an astronaut, his sight let him down. So my question to you... if you could do absolutely anything for a job regardless of ability what would it be?

I dont think that i would be able to pick out just one job,but there have been many over the years that ive fancied having a go at,but the family etc have meant that ive had to stay at home. When i was very young i wante to be a nun, desperately, and i was detemined, lol but that phase passed.Ive never wanted to be a rock star tho I think its a quiet life that i need, the quierter the better.

I think i was destined to be a mom. All I have ever wanted to do was help kids. Never anything specific but just be with kids and well now that im a stay at home mom I am able to work at the school with kids who need help and I love it. I did want to be a vet when I was a kid till I realized they do die sometimes then I knew I couldnt do the job.

What a fun discussion topic!
There are so many different careers I would love to have... for me physical or mental ability isn't what restrains me, but financial ability to get the schooling under my belt.
I always wanted to be an elementary school teacher. I love kids, and adore the idea of summers off. ;)
I wanted to be a vet when I was a kid too, but I can honestly say that I had no idea what the job description entailed at the time.
I would love to be a hospital nurse.... after watching so many episodes of ER over the years, I find the nurses ever so inspiring!
I would love to get into politics... slowly building my way up the ladder, starting at a school council level, and then broadening my horizons. This is still a possibility, if I were to set my mind to it.
I would also love to be a novel writer. I do have a true life story that I know would be a best seller, but I haven't yet figured out a way to pen it. I keep on telling myself that it's because it's not yet time.
I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that come to mind right away. :)

Wouldn't it be nice if education was free to the masses and we could take whatever courses we wanted. I think politics would be fun too, a thankless job though. I think to inspire children would be a great job too and the summers off wouldn't hurt either. I really love animals but I think being a vet would be heartbreaking.

I think being a vet would be more difficult than being a doctor, because of all of the various anatomies you'd have to be familiar with, not just "human". Yes, it would be heartbreaking too I'm sure.
