Government Rebates

I don't get why the government is only giving money to people who make 3,000 dollars or more. The only time we get back what is owed to us and they don't just give it to everybody. If the government would stop giving us a bunch of crap and just pay their debts. We would be able to live better lives.

I agree with the later of your discussion, why spend billions on a tax rebate when we are billions in debt. I don't know about all of you, but mine is going right in the savings account I don't plan on using any of it right away. So much for the economic stimulus!!!

I agree with what you say here. I think that the rebate should be straight across the board. I don't know why they choose only those that make over 3,000 or more. It doesn't make sense but since when does things the government do make sense.
