We eat every night together at the dining room table every night as a family. That's our time to catch up and see what the kids did at school or daycare, etc. This makes your kids talk to you and inform you if things are bothering them or things they are excited about etc. Try it out it's worth it! You know... quality time with your family?! :)

No, we don't eat at the dinner table. I wish we did because, you have more intimate conversations about what went on during the day. We tend to sit in front of the TV also. God Bless

No, we don't have a table! We might eat at the table regularly if we had one but it probably wouldn't be every night. I would prefer not to have the tv on but it's the only way to stop the rest of the family talking while their eating!

That's fair enough, but I mean actually literally talking with their mouth full, but to be honest, it's not the kids who are the culprit for that! I'll listen about my son's day at school any time. I make at least an hour for that before he goes to bed!

We try to encourage the kids to talk to us about there day at school at dinner time. That is the besat time for us to be able to actually pay attention to things that are important.
