I know my life is kinda crazy! Almost two weeks ago I was having an awesome day. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, I didn't have to go to work and I even slept in a little. Then I went to a garage sale where I bought a Dell printer scanner copier for $25.00 and got a piece of Maple City Pottery for $20.00 so I was out having fun... (spending money is always fun) and it was just a great day. I was looking forward to a cool fun weekend. I got home from the garage sales and saw a big stick in my yard. I was already outside so I decided to pick it up and throw it on the burn pile. Well wouldn't you know I started walking around to the back yard when I stepped into a small hole in the ground. CRUNCH went my ankle and a horrible flash of pain. I screamed for my room mate to come outside and help me. I have to admit I went a little crazy "oh God, I think I just broke my ankle!" I sobbed and acted quite drama queenish, cussing as much as I wanted to and complaing of the pain for the next day or so. I had to wait 45 minutes to be taken back to the room. Then I waited another 20 minutes for a doctor. Then they wheeled me to get x-rayed. Then I got wheeled back to the clinic. The doctor came back in and told me they didn't see any breaks but that someone would be able to look at it Monday. Well yeah, I still haven't heard back about that but I'm not too surprized. When the doctor sent in a nurse to wrap my sprained (?) ankle oh yeah HE FORGOT TO TELL HER TO COME WRAP IT... and I was in there for another 30 minutes. Then, so she gets in there and can barely wrap it and I'm mean mugging this nurse like no other. I mean that's just lame to leave someone in pain like that forever. I think I was at the hospital for at least 3 hours. It wasn't fun. My ankle is a lot better now but I hope I never have to go back to that place again!
