There is six years difference between my husband and I. He is six years older than me. It doesn't create any problems. We have been married for 35 years and get along great. My sister and her husband have forty years difference between them. He is forty something older than her and they get along great. If she makes you happy and you get along together age should not even enter whether you get together or not.

There are 6 years between my husband and I as well. However, if we'd started dating while in high school, that would have seemed a bit weird. Kids are pressured by their peers these days, and at that age, even a couple years difference is a big deal.

I don't think it's too big a deal. I met my fiance when I was a junior in high school and he was a sophomore in college.

Age doesn't matter. That saying has become a cliche already as it passes through centuries of love affairs. What matters most is your intention to the person, coupled with your concern, care, love and affection to her. If he likes you, it would be much better. You won't have much hard time.

oh it is okay ben. honestly, i prefer guys who are older than me. but well, i got married to a guy who is younger. which is okay. but i still i would like him to be at least 3 years older. i think they are more mature that way. and i believe, they are more accomplished. i dunno, that is just my feeling. so go ahead. or else, you will look back in your old age and just regret the opportunity,. :-)
good day my boy!

Are you talking high school? University?
Two years of an age difference in High School can be insurmountable.
Two years in college not so much.
Two years in the adult world (after 21) is nothing at all and isn't even considered an age difference because you are within the same generation.
I am 19 years older than my husband. We are literally two different generations. I had a drivers license before he was born. I was in University before he was out of diapers. I have a son one year younger than him. He will be a grandfather this year because I will be a grandmother this year. The music I grew up listening to is sampled by the musicians he listens to.
Shall I continue?
Yet we overcome all the differences. We have been together for nearly 11 years. We have been married for nearly 9 years. We laugh at some of the funny things that are age differences sometimes cause in our view of the world.
So really it is just a matter of where in your life-cycle you are.
